加拿大卫生部发布警告，一款电动割草机在美国传出过热、起火和有人受伤的报道后，加拿大正在召回数千台电池供电的割草机。
针对Ryobi销售的几款在美国生产的21英寸无刷无绳手扶式割草机，加拿大卫生部周四发布召回警报。
加拿大卫生部在召回通知中表示：“召回的割草机的动力头内部有一个推入式连接器，可能会过热，造成火灾隐患。”
2021年2月至2025年1月期间，加拿大共售出约28,400台割草机。

加拿大卫生部表示，截至2025年1月24日，该公司在加拿大收到一份割草机使用过程中过热起火的报告，但无人受伤。
不过在美国，已有96起过热报告，其中包括4起火灾报告和2起轻伤报告。
受影响割草机的型号为：RY401014BTLUS、RY401014US、RY401140US、RY401015BTLUS、RY401015US、RY401150US、RY401140US-Y、RY401150US-Y、RY401160US和RY401016US，序列号为：KC21032D010001至KC21327N999999。

卫生部敦促“立即停止使用召回的割草机”。
加拿大卫生部表示，消费者还应联系TTI Outdoor Power Equipment Inc.，了解如何安全停用召回产品并获得免费更换。
